The furniture of bathrooms of increasing size? restricted poses new problems in the design of sanitary ware, which must be placed in confined spaces without however losing their functionality.

There? occurs in particular with reference to bathtubs and shower cabins which, being bulky and very different in size, can hardly be coordinated together without wasting space or without resorting to completely irrational arrangements, especially as far as concerns the arrangement of the drains.

There? ? made possible, according to the invention, by arranging the tub with the longitudinal axis substantially arranged on the diagonal of the available space, so as to identify, on the two opposite sides of the tub, as many angular areas, one of which is? intended to act as a support surface for objects and to accommodate the taps of the tub, while the other area? designed to accommodate the shower cubicle.

The structure outlined above? adapted to be obtained by means of mutually assembled and partially superimposed shells in synthetic material, for example in methacrylate.

The invention comprises a block with a substantially rectangular or square plan, consisting of a lower base (1) surmounted by an upper shell (2).

In the shell (2)? obtained a tank (3), substantially placed with the axis parallel to a diagonal, in plan, of the base (1), from whose upper edge a horizontal plane extends. CLAIM 1. Bath tub and shower enclosure unit, characterized by the fact that it comprises a rectangular or square block in which the following are obtained: a bathtub arranged with its longitudinal axis substantially parallel to a diagonal, in plan, of the block; a walking surface of the shower cubicle arranged to occupy, in plan, a corner of the block through which the other diagonal passes; a plane designed to accommodate the taps, designed to occupy, in plan, a corner of the block opposite the one in which? place the floor of the shower.
