Una cassa modulare sovrapponibile, per il trasporto e/o deposito di generi sfusi, avente volume di contenimento maggiorato, comprende pareti laterali (12) munite di zone assottigliate (16, 18) previste per aumentare il volume di contenimento della cassa, con elementi di irrigidimento (20-34) che sostanzialmente non sporgono dalla sagoma esterna della medesima cassa. Le zone assottigliate (16, 18) delle pareti laterali (12) possono essere munite anche di finestre passanti (54a-h, 56a-h) per consentire ispezione del carico e circolazione di aria nel medesimo.
