Il supporto, realizzato in resina sintetica stampata ad iniezione, è stampato con materiale plastico di due colori, per risultare ad un estremo di un colore differente che all'estremo opposto, allo scopo di agevolare il controllo dell'orientamento del supporto e quindi della rocca di filato da cui limitatamente sporgono i due estremi.(Fig. unica).
