Abstract

The invention relates to automobile transmission shafts. This support comprises a ring 2 mounted rotatably on the shaft and connected by an elastic ring 5 to a support annulus 6 which is made of a single component, for example made from glass fibre-reinforced plastic, with mounting parts 10, 11. The latter are connected to the annulus by struts 8, 9 ending at diametrically opposite points of the annulus which are aligned in a direction substantially parallel to the alignment of the tabs 10, 11.
