The present invention refers to an electrical control device.

The present invention refers in particular to an electric control device equipped with a cover plate having an integrated display that can be associated with a base suitable for supporting the so-called fruits, i.e. devices such as electrical sockets, electronic command and control modules, etc.

In the electrical system sector, a so-called civil series includes control and actuation devices made up of switches, diverters, sockets and other elements of the electrical system, which are generally assembled in a modular manner on support frames that are fixed to boxes, generally recessed into the walls or mounted outside the walls themselves.

Normally, the internal parts of the appliances are protected by frame covering frames, called plates, which provide an adequate aesthetic finish and the necessary protection.

Are the cover plates appropriately configured to allow accessibility? to the switches and other functional control elements.

Traditionally, plates are passive elements made of various materials, mainly technopolymers, but also metals, wood, to satisfy different aesthetic needs.

In recent years, plates with functional characteristics, called active plates, have been proposed on the market, which do not simply cover the fastening elements of electrical appliances but also cover them. they are equipped with control, actuation and signaling devices.

EP3398409B1 describes a control apparatus of a civil system comprising a cover plate coupled to a functional frame which has a lower protruding edge on which sensors are positioned. The board contains an electronic circuit equipped with a series of LEDs and a microcontroller that analyzes, controls and manages the LEDs, sensors and a series of communication ports of the electronic circuit. Between the plate and the functional frame? Is there a light guide that is present? coupled with LEDs and what? configured to uniformly illuminate the external surface of the plate.

A system problem described in EP3398409B1? consisting of the fact that the front structure of the plate and the bottom of the plate open to allow the support to be housed, so as to make it interchangeable; however, in this way the assembly consisting of the plate, the front structure of the plate, the bottom of the plate and the support is bulky and therefore protrudes significantly from the installation wall.

Task of the present invention? that of creating an improved electrical control device, equipped with a cover plate having an integrated display that can be associated with a base suitable for supporting the so-called fruits, i.e. electrical sockets, command and control devices, electronic modules, etc.

Within this task, an object of the invention is? that of creating a device that constitutes an integrated system.

A particular purpose of the invention? that of creating an electrical appliance with power supply and communication from an intelligent module, fruit or retro-fruit, capable of sharing, using different media, information coming from an H.A. system, such as for example the opening status of windows, the occupancy of a meeting room and the display of alarm states.

A further purpose of the invention? that of creating an electrical appliance that can be made with fewer electronic components on the plate, reducing costs and energy consumption.

Another purpose of the present invention? is to create a device which, due to its peculiar manufacturing characteristics, is capable of ensuring the most? extensive guarantees of reliability? and safety in use.

These objectives and others which will appear better below are achieved by an electric control device comprising a cover plate which can be associated with a modular support; said apparatus being characterized by the fact that it comprises at least one operating module associated with said modular support; said cover plate comprising a front, equipped with a display; said plate being connected to said at least one operating module via an electrical connection system.

Further characteristics and advantages will emerge more clearly from the description of preferred, but not exclusive, embodiments of the invention, illustrated for indicative and non-limiting purposes in the attached drawings, in which:

With reference to the cited figures, the apparatus according to the invention, indicated globally with the reference number 1, includes a cover plate 7 which can be associated with a modular support 11.

The plate 7 includes a front 19, equipped with a display 18, a printed circuit 17, which includes the electronic components, an internal and perimeter light guide element 16, and a bottom cover 15.

As an example, the bottom coverage 15 ? advantageously an adhesive film.

The modular support 11, which can? be of standard type, can? support one or more? fruits, or electrical and electronic devices such as, for example, control devices, sockets, electronic modules, etc.

In this case, the modular support 11 supports at least one operating module 5.

The operating module 5, in fruit or retro-fruit form, is? capable of sharing, using different means, information from an H.A. system, such as, for example, the opening status of windows, the occupancy of a meeting room and the display of alarm states.

This allows for fewer electronic components on plate 7, reducing costs and energy consumption.

According to the invention, the plate 7? connected to the operating module 5 via a connection system 6, advantageously consisting of a plug-plug patch cord.

The connection system 6, comprising a patch cord 61, is connected to the plate 7 and to the operating module 5 via tear-proof connection means.

In this case, the tear-proof connection means comprise a first connector 8, integral with one end. of the patch cord 61, and capable of being inserted into a connector 9 integral with a connector support 10 associated with the plate 7.

The tear-proof connection means also comprise a second connector 14, integral with the other end. of the patch cord 61, and capable of being inserted into a connector 51 of the operating module 5.

The modular support 11 has an opening 13 for the sliding of the patch cord 61, to guide and contain the connection system to the plate 7.

Yes ? in practice it has been noted that the invention achieves the intended task and objectives by having created an electrical device, consisting of a cover plate powered and communicating with an intelligent module, which creates an integrated system.

The power supply and communication provided by the intelligent module, a fruit or retro-fruit, allows you to share information from an H.A. system, such as the opening status of windows, the occupancy of a meeting room and the display of statuses of alarm.

There? allows you to create a device with fewer electronic components on the plate, reducing costs and energy consumption.

An important advantage of the invention? consisting of the connection system between the plate and the power/communication module, via a plug-plug patch cord, with anti-tear characteristics.

An additional advantage? given by the modular support with opening for sliding the power/communication patch cord and relative seat to guide and contain the connection system to the plate.

The electrical control device according to the invention is susceptible to numerous modifications and variations, all falling within the scope of the inventive concept; furthermore, all details may be replaced by technically equivalent elements.

Naturally the materials used, as well as? the dimensions may be any according to needs and the state of the art.

Claims (9)

Electrical control device comprising a cover plate that can be associated with a modular support; said apparatus being characterized by the fact that it comprises at least one operating module associated with said modular support; said cover plate comprising a front, equipped with a display; said plate being connected to said at least one operating module via an electrical connection system. 2. Electrical control device, according to claim 1, characterized in that said electrical connection system comprises at least one cable comprising tear-proof connection means. 3. Electrical control device, according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said cover plate includes a printed circuit, and an internal and perimeter light guide element, and a bottom cover. 4. Electrical control device, according to one or more? of the previous claims, characterized in that said modular support supports one or more? fruits, electrical and electronic devices, control devices, sockets, electronic modules. 5. Electrical control device, according to one or more? of the previous claims, characterized by the fact that said operating module shares with said plate information coming from an H.A. system. 6. Electrical control device, according to one or more? of the previous claims, characterized in that said connection system comprises a plug-plug patch cord system. 7. Electrical control device, according to one or more? of the previous claims, characterized in that said connection system includes a patch cord connected to said plate and said operating module via tear-proof connection means. 8. Electrical control device, according to one or more? of the previous claims, characterized in that said anti-tear connection means comprise a first connector, integral with one end? of said patch cord, and capable of being inserted into a connector integral with a connector support associated with said plate; a second connector, integral with the other end? of said patch cord, and capable of being inserted into a connector of said operating module. 9. Electrical control device, according to one or more? of the previous claims, characterized in that said modular support has an opening for sliding and guiding said patch cord.
