Of the Invention entitled SELF-ADJUSTING SYSTEM OF INTEGRATED SUSPENSION FOR SPRING-BASED PLATFORMS FOR SPORTS USE (hereinafter, for the sake of brevity, the "Invention").

Scope of the Invention

The Found consists of an integrated self-regulating suspension system for spring-loaded platforms pertaining to sport, and in particular gymnastics such as, by way of example, platforms for free body or vaulting platforms.

State of the art

The existing spring suspension systems are composed of a series - which varies according to the type of tool - of springs hinged to the upper and lower edges of the platform structure, these systems being characterized by the fact that the springs are pivoted one by one to the below the platform itself. An example of a spring system of this nature? contained in the patent n. US7175567B2. The "single spring" system? well? valid, but does not guarantee a universally performing joke, as unique springs - moreover? generally with a cylindrical section - they guarantee greater momentum to heavier athletes, and vice versa.

An example of a different system from the one just described? the one referred to in patent no. DE3602784A1. still apparently similar to the invention, however, the latter has notable differences, resulting in as many improvements, with the aforementioned patent no. DE3602784A1:

- while the patent n. DE3602784A1 has a system of two cylindrical springs, the invention consists of a system of at least three truncated conical springs. While cylindrical springs tend to interfere with each other, truncated conical springs manage to work without crossing each other.

Furthermore, the truncated-conical spring system according to the present invention ensures a greater exploitation of the spring wire in compression and extension and, above all, the exploitation of the spring in connection with the other springs.

Summary of the Invention

Therefore, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a system designed to overcome the limitations of the prior art:

- aimed at guaranteeing an equally powerful impetus to athletes of different weights;

- which results, consequently, in a device suitable for the pi? widespread, in order to solve the structural problems associated with the previous state of the art.

Furthermore, it is an object of the present invention to provide a cheap device to make, in order to favor its widespread diffusion. And whose cheapness? and simplicity? of construction generate undoubted and evident advantages both on an economic level and on an environmental impact level.

These and other objects are therefore achieved with the present invention , consisting of an integrated suspension system for platforms for sports use (Fig. 1, Fig. 2, Fig. 3) comprising:

- At least three truncated conical springs (1, 2, 3) the first (1) being larger, the second (2) medium and the third (3) smaller, so that the stiffness? of the same is inversely proportional to their size;

- At least one lower housing suitable for the purpose (4), anchored to the upper side of the lower part of the platform;

- At least one upper housing suitable for the purpose (5), anchored to the lower side of the upper part of the platform.

Brief description of the Figures

The Found will now be described for illustrative but not limiting purposes, with particular reference to the drawings of the attached figures, in which:

- Fig. 1 shows a general view of the three springs of which ? composed the preferred embodiment of the Trovato; a list of the components shown follows:

Description of the preferred embodiment

With reference to the enclosed figures, therefore, the preferred embodiment of the invention is described, in accordance with the present invention.

The Found looks like a system of three conical springs of size and stiffness? different (1, 2, 3) so as to obtain the reaction to compression according to the desired characteristic. The springs (1, 2, 3) are arranged concentrically between them, and preferably made of specific harmonic steel or other material suitable for the purpose. The position of the three springs (1, 2, 3), placed in sequence with each other, ? such as to allow them to come into operation gradually and progressively depending on the pressure applied: the spring of larger size and rigidity? minor (1) runs on its own under lower pressure; the spring size and stiffness? intermediate (2) comes into operation in tandem with that of greater size and rigidity? minor (1) under intermediate pressure; the spring of smaller size and rigidity? finally, the major (3) comes into operation in communion with the previous ones (1, 2) under greater pressure.

The springs (1, 2, 3) are blocked on a lower housing (4) and an upper housing (5) suitable for the purpose, preferably made of plastic or other material suitable for the purpose. Which, in turn, are fixed on the upper side of the lower base of the platform the former; on the underside of the top of the footboard the second.

The upper housing (5), in particular, has a modular shape so to be anchored to all three springs (1, 2, 3) at the same time and to ensure their progressive and gradual entry into operation.

The number of suspension systems to be employed cos? made depends on the individual sports equipment for which they are installed.

On a platform built according to this operating principle, an athlete more? light - probably a child - takes the momentum using the spring of superior size and rigidity? minor (1), an athlete of intermediate weight - such as, for example, a woman - benefits from the momentum deriving from the joint use of the spring of higher dimension and stiffness? minor (1) and the spring size and rigidity? intermediate (2), while an athlete of greater weight pu? rely on the momentum provided by the entire spring system.

The found can? be modified while maintaining the inventive concept, what about it? at the base, every detail being able to be replaced with another technically equivalent one.

Conclusions

In the light of the description provided, in conclusion, the Found:

represents an innovation, presenting itself as an improvement of the state of the art;

it is configured as an effective system to guarantee an equally powerful impetus to athletes of different weights; it presents itself as an economic system to be implemented, with positive effects both on an economic level and on an environmental impact;

turns out to be suitable for a widespread diffusion being feasible at low cost and, above all, being adaptable to all types of sporting discipline involving the use of a platform with a suspension system

1) Integrated self-adjusting suspension system for spring loaded platforms for sports use, including: - At least three truncated conical springs (1, 2, 3) the first (1) being larger, the second (2) medium and the third (3) smaller, so that the stiffness? of the same is inversely proportional to their size, said springs being arranged concentrically so that the smaller size (3) is the smallest? internal and that of larger dimensions (1) is the pi? external; and which springs (1, 2, 3) operate gradually according to the pressure exerted; - At least one lower housing (4), anchored to the upper side of the lower part of the platform; - At least one upper housing (5), anchored to the lower side of the upper part of the platform.
