Method of manufacturing a face protection mask (1) according to one of the preceding claims, said mask (1) comprising a mask body (3) and retention components (2) arranged laterally and adapted to keep said mask in position when worn, characterized in that it comprises the steps of: providing a substantially flat mask body (3); bending said mask body at least in correspondence with the fixing sides (6, 7) of said retaining components (2) to form a plurality of elements. of folds (5) and layers (8) of the mask body (3) superimposed; tighten at least part of said mask body (3) in at least two points (2a, 2b) in proximity? of said sides (6, 7), a part (3a, 3b) of said mask body (3) extending externally to said retaining components (2) with respect to the remaining mask body (3).

Method according to claim 6, comprising the step of folding said mask body (3) like an accordion, forming overlapping layers (8); the folds (5) and said sides (8) preferably extending over the entire width of the mask body (3).

Method according to claim 6 or 7, wherein the retaining components (2) are constrained to the mask body at a distance from the sides (6, 7) of said body (3).

Method according to one of claims 6 to 8, wherein said retaining components (2) are constrained on the bezel body (3) by means of a knot that wraps and tightens the folded bezel body (3), in a position adjacent to the side (6, 7) of the said body.

Method according to one of claims 6 to 9, wherein said retaining components are rings, preferably of elastic material, and said knot? of the noose type and? obtained by wrapping said ring around the body of the mask (3), passing one end? of said ring inside it and tightening said ring on said body (3).

Package for the production of a mask according to one of claims 1 to 5, using the method according to one of claims 6 to 10, said package comprising a kit containing at least one mask body (3) and a plurality of elements. of retaining components (3) for each bezel body, the bezel body (3) and the retaining components (2) being in a condition in which they are separated from each other and not assembled.
