These masks are designed to protect both the patient and the healthcare staff from the spread of harmful agents, in particular viruses and / or bacteria, which can be transmitted through the air by means of for example and not limited to micro-drops spread through sneezing or coughing. .

In recent years, yes? observed, especially in the Asian area, the intensive use of face masks also by non-health personnel, in particular during peaks of pollution and / or during peaks of flu diseases.

Recently the pandemic spread of the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has attracted the world population to the massive use of protective masks to contain the spread of the virus.

The Applicant has found that not all face masks are effectively effective in protecting subjects from bacteria and in particular from viruses. The Applicant notes in particular that adequate levels of protection from coronavirus can be provided by face masks according to the reference standard EN 149 of level 2 and 3. Summary

The difficulty? of availability? of suitable face masks has led the Applicant to conceive a face mask in accordance with the following aspects.

Detailed description of the invention

In order to solve the drawbacks described above, the Applicant has conceived an article of clothing, in particular a face mask 100, suitable for being worn by a subject 200. The face mask which forms the subject of the present disclosure? configured to be wearable by the user cos? to provide a covering of a part of the face of the subject 200 comprising at least the nose 201 and / or the mouth 202.
