Descrizione Description
Stato dell’arte (background) State of the art (background)
The following invention describes a container for pizza (100), characterized by the fact that it houses an intermediate insert (400), suitably shaped, which has the purpose of keeping intact the fragrance and organoleptic characteristics of the freshly baked product, avoiding it softening and contamination by substances unrelated to human nutrition.
The pizza containers currently on the market are made to contain heat loss and avoid lowering the temperature of the food product. The problem is, however, that, due to their conformation, these containers favor the formation of water vapor, which is only partially evacuated by the holes placed laterally to the container itself; the remaining part collects both on the upper part of the lid and on the lower part of the container. The water vapor, which affects the upper part of the lid, frequently causes the lid to soften and, when the percentage of water vapor is high, falls back in the form of water droplets on the baked product, i.e. the pizza. The condensed water vapor, which first settles on the container and then falls on the food product, absorbs the substances that have been used in the production of the container itself. This means that the food product, i.e. pizza, is not only softened by this condensed steam water, but also contaminated by foreign substances, transported by the same water, with consequent alteration of the organoleptic characteristics and composition of the food product and consequent concrete risk of poisoning of the same and, therefore, of the consumer. On the other hand, even the water vapor, generated in the lower part of the baked product, concentrating directly on the lower part of the container and softening it, significantly alters the fragrance and modifies the organoleptic and composition characteristics of the food product, i.e. of the pizza. , allowing the latter to more easily absorb the foreign substances making up the container. This effect is emphasized not only by the direct contact that the food product has with the lower part of the container, but also by the frequent circumstance that the product, namely the pizza, is cut into slices by the retailer to facilitate consumption. In the latter case, in fact, the ingredients of the pizza at very high temperatures inevitably fall on the bottom of the container, favoring a real gluing of the food product with the container and a significant contamination of the food product with the substances making up the container itself. Usually the pizza containers on the market are built with corrugated cardboard for food purposes in compliance with directive 2004/14 / EC and, although the relative legislation is quite stringent, they inevitably contain, albeit in a reduced way, contaminants and harmful to human health. , such as phthalates, benzene, naphthalene, phenols, without neglecting the PFAS and PFOS, substances belonging to the perfluoroalkyl family. All of the above substances, migrating within the food, are absorbed by the human body with serious consequences for the same.
Furthermore, from the point of view of environmental protection, it should be noted that the currently existing containers for baked foods, especially if greasy and / or soiled with food substances, cannot follow the recycling path like a normal cardboard and / or paper product, nor can they be disposed of as “organic” waste.

The invention object of the present patent application and utility model will be described below, with particular reference to figures 1 and 2. The double-chamber pizza container (100) consists of an upper part (200) and a lower part ( 300); it is shaped in such a way as to present a symmetry with respect to the longitudinal axis (a.s.). In fact, the left side (S) and the right side (D) are distinguished with respect to the longitudinal axis (a.s.). Figure 3 shows the elements making up the container with the folding lines of the elements themselves in a flat configuration (die-cut). Starting from the upper part, we distinguish: the lid closure (202), the container lid (201), an upper insert assembly (206), as well as the vertical wall (203), the right stiffening flap (204D), the left stiffener tab (204S), right tab (205D) and left tab (205S). In relation to Figures 1 and 3, the lower part (300) is characterized by having a bottom (301), a right side wall (304D) and a left side wall (304S). The bottom (301) has a lower insert assembly (308). On the right side wall (304D) there is the right containment wall (305D). On the left side wall (304S) there is the left containment wall (305S). On the right side wall (304D) there is the right stiffening flap (306D), as well as the right tab (307D). On the left side wall (304S) there is the left stiffening flap (306S) as well as the left tab (307S). The lower part (300) also consists of a central wall (302) with an adjoining containment wall (303). On the double-chamber pizza container (100) there are, as can be seen from figure 4, notches, i.e. openings. Figures 3 and 4 distinguish first of all the cut-out for closing the lid (2), the cut-outs on the right (5D and 7D), respectively for the right tabs (205D and 307D). On the left side, on the other hand, there are the left notches (5S and 7S), respectively for the left tabs (205S and 307S). The folding procedure of the double-chamber pizza container (100) can be carried out according to the following sequence of operations, as highlighted in particular in figures 3, 4 and 5: the first wall to be folded is the vertical wall (203), subsequently they must the right side wall (304D), the left side wall (304S) and finally the central wall (302) are folded in sequence; at this point the right stiffening flap (204D) must be folded and the right tab (205D) must be inserted into the right slot (5D); the right stiffening flap (306D) must be folded and the right tab (307D) inserted in the right slot (7D); the left stiffening flap (204S) must be folded and the left tab (205S) must be inserted in the left slot (5S); the left stiffening flap (306S) must be folded and the left tab (307S) must be inserted in the left slot (7S). At this point it is necessary to carry out the horizontal bending of the right containment wall (305D), of the containment wall (303) and of the left containment wall (305S), as well as the bending of the lid closure (202) and subsequently of the container lid (201), inserting the lid closure (202) in the recess for closing the lid (2). As shown in particular in Figures 3, 5, 6 and 7, it is evident that on the lid (201) of the double-chamber pizza container (100) there is an upper insert assembly (206). The distribution and / or the number of elements of the upper insert group (206), proposed in the aforementioned figures, is to be considered purely indicative and therefore not limiting. The upper inserts (206) are obtained by die-cutting directly on the surface forming part of the lid (201) and can be folded in such a way as to be able to hook and support the intermediate insert (400). On the bottom of the container (301) a group of lower inserts (308) is obtained by punching. These inserts are shaped in such a way as to have a continuous side (308a) and a series of hooking tabs (308b). The continuous side (308a) has the purpose of supporting the weight of the pizza when the hooking tabs (308b) are inserted into the lower slots (8) of the intermediate insert (400). The intermediate insert (400) consists of a blank of palm leaves and / or any material of natural origin, suitably not treated with solvents and / or chemicals, which could migrate inside the food, contaminating it. The intermediate insert (400) is provided with a group of upper hooking slots (6), a group of lower hooking slots (8) and a group of ventilation holes (401). Both the distribution and the conformation of the groups (6), (8) and (401), present in Figure 7, are to be considered indicative and certainly not limiting. As shown in figures 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, the intermediate insert (400) can be integrated into the double-chamber pizza container (100), in the lower part through the coupling of the upper insert group (206) and in the lower part through the hook of the lower insert assembly (308). The intermediate insert (400) must be inserted inside the upper part of the container, hooking the upper inserts (206) to the upper hooking slots (6), while in the lower part, folding the continuous side (308a) and inserting the hooking tabs (308b) in the lower hooking slots (8). In figure 10 it is evident how, thanks to the assembly of the intermediate insert (400) both in the upper and lower part of the container, three zones have been created. The pizza, freshly baked, must be placed inside the containment area (p), while there is an upper cavity (is) and a lower cavity (ii). The purpose of the upper cavity (is) is to evacuate the flow of water vapor produced by the pizza, contained in the containment area (p), through the ventilation ducts (401). These ventilation ducts (401) have a truncated cone shape that favors the evacuation of water vapor towards the upper cavity (is) which is at a lower temperature. The water vapor, condensing, is deposited on the lid (201), while the presence of the intermediate insert prevents contamination and softening of the pizza, contained within the containment area (p). The presence of the upper interspace (is) avoids the sudden lowering of the temperature of the pizza due to transport, creating a sort of insulating effect from the external temperature. In the lower part, however, the ventilation holes (401) are used to connect the bottom of the high temperature pizza with the lower cavity (ii), containing air at a lower temperature. The water vapor present is channeled towards the lower cavity (ii); in this way it is avoided that the condensed water vapor can soften and contaminate the food with chemicals, unrelated to human nutrition and, therefore, dangerous to health. The lower cavity (ii) also has the purpose of creating a heat containment effect, favoring an optimal temperature of the pizza product during its transport. The presence of the intermediate insert (400) both in the upper part and in the lower part of the pizza container with insert (100) favors the maintenance of the fragrance of the product and prevents odors, sudden changes in temperature and substances foreign to the pizza product, from altering it. the organoleptic characteristics. The intermediate insert (400) is made of palm leaf and / or any natural material, which does not contain phthalates, benzene, naphthalene, phenols in any way, and is completely respectful not only for human health, but also for the environment. because it is easily recyclable and compostable, even if greasy.
