La presente invenzione riguarda il settore dell’abbigliamento sportivo, e concerne in particolare un tessuto a maglia per capi di abbigliamento sportivo, particolarmente adatto per realizzare maglie e pantaloni per giocatori di tennis. Il secondo filato in particolare è formato dalla composizione di due fibre opposte in quanto ad igroscopia ed idrofobia: le fibre vegetali di cellulosa assorbono umidità e vapore acqueo, senza dare sensazione di umido, mentre le fibre di poliestere sono idrorepellenti, cioè lasciano che l’acqua, ovvero il sudore, scivoli via in minuscole gocce e nel contempo consentono il passaggio del vapore acqueo dall’interno del tessuto a maglia, lato epidermide, verso l’esterno dello stesso. Il sudore, veicolato dal primo filato in polipropilene predominante nello strato interno in direzione del secondo filato predominante nello strato esterno, è canalizzato verso la superficie esterna del tessuto a maglia, mentre l’umidità gassosa, nel gergo tecnico “dumpness”, viene assorbita dal secondo filato predominante nello strato esterno, in particolare dalle sue fibre di cellulosa. L’invenzione riguarda un tessuto tecnico a maglia per capi di abbigliamento sportivo, particolarmente adatto per realizzare abbigliamento per il tennis, e comprende un primo filato 1 e un secondo filato 2 immagliati tra loro per formare un tessuto a due strati. Detto primo filato 1 è costituito al 100% da fibre di polipropilene e realizza, con un percentuale maggiore del 50%, il primo strato del tessuto a maglia, ovvero lo strato che nell’uso sarà a contatto con la pelle del soggetto utilizzatore, cioè quello interno. Detto secondo filato 2 è composto da una mischia comprendente il 60% di fibra artificiale di origine vegetale, in particolare ottenuta da cellulosa, e il 40% di fibra di poliestere, e realizza, con un percentuale maggiore del 50%, il secondo strato del tessuto, ovvero lo strato che nell’uso sarà rivolto verso l’esterno rispetto alla pelle del soggetto utilizzatore.
