Protection device as in claim 1 wherein said covering element or base (4) has, starting from the rear surface (5), a first axial seat (6) essentially "T" shaped, suitable for housing said cylinder ( 7), on the lateral surface (10) of said covering element or base (4) being formed, near the front surface (11), an annular groove (12), for housing an "O ring" type gasket ", and a limit switch ring (13), in relief, for the abutment support for a protective cap (14) having a flat or curved front surface, which covers said front surface (11) and partially said side surface (10 ) of said covering element or base (4), said protective cap (14), of a shape counter-shaped to said base (4), being hollow and has a first hole (15) for accessibility, from the outside, to said slit (9), which is characterized by the fact that said ele covering or base (4) is associated with said door (3) by means of at least two first screws (16a, 16b) passing through the rear of said lock (2) and associable with counter-threaded second holes (17a, 17b) obtained on said rear surface (5) of said covering element or base (4).

Protection device as per one or more of the preceding claims which is characterized by the fact that said pair of plates (18a, 18b) are associated, in a pivoting manner, in correspondence with said rear surface (5) of said covering element or base (4) so as to be able to arrange, at rest, side by side or spaced apart, the size of said pair of plates (18a, 18b) being such that, if they are placed side by side in the rest condition, they are they have a perimeter size substantially equal to that of said covering element or base (4), while when they are spaced apart in the condition in place, they protrude beyond the perimeter edge (19) of said covering element or base (4).

Protection device as per one or more of the preceding claims which is characterized by the fact that each of said pair of plates (18a, 18b) has an overall height substantially equal to that of the vertical dimension of said first seat (6 ) essentially "T" shaped, said pair of plates (18a, 18b) mirroring each other and with respect to an axis passing longitudinally to said first seat (6).

Protection device as per one or more of the preceding claims which is characterized in that each of said pair of plates (18a, 18b) has a substantially circular sector conformation to define a first sector (20a, 20b) and a second sector (20c, 20d) which, in the rest condition during the installation phase, have their respective spokes (27a, 27b, 27c, 27d) arranged respectively side by side substantially on the sides of the second section (25) of said first seat (6 ) which houses the upper part (26) of said cylinder (7) and slightly apart from the first portion (22) of said first seat (6) which houses the lower part (23) of said cylinder (7).

Protection device as per one or more of the preceding claims which is characterized in that a fourth hole (70a, 70b) seat for a pin or screw (71a, 71b) for pivoting to said rear surface (5) of said covering element or base (4), said pins or screws (71a, 71b) allowing said pair of plates (18a , 18b) to tilt, since said plate (18a) can rotate clockwise and said plate (18b) counterclockwise.

Protection device as per one or more of the preceding claims which is characterized in that in the condition in which said pair of plates (18a, 18b) is approached and therefore in the rest condition in the initial installation phase of said device ( l), said second section (25) of said first seat (6) is occluded, so that it cannot house the upper part (26) of said cylinder (7), at the same time a polygonal or rectangular opening (29) being defined for the insertion of a suitable tool or tool, such as the tip (30) of a screwdriver (31) or other suitable tool for the purpose.

Protection device as per one or more of the preceding claims which is characterized in that said pair of plates (18a, 18b) is associated with said rear surface (5) of said covering element or base (4) by means of the '' use of two or more pairs of second screws (32a, 32b) which insist on a first pair of slots (34a, 34b) obtained on said pair of plates (18a, 18b) according to an arc of a circle centered on said quarters holes (70a, 70b) in which said pins or screws (71a, 71b) insist, said pair of second screws (32a, 32b) being screwed in correspondence with counter-threaded third holes (36a, 36b) obtained in said rear surface (5) of said covering element or base (4).

Protection device as per one or more of the preceding claims which is characterized by the fact that on said pair of plates (18a, 18b) there are a third or more pairs of slots (37a, 37b), arched according to an arc of circle with center on said fourth holes (70a, 70b) in which said pins or screws (71a, 71b), seats for the stems of said at least two first screws (16a, 16b), in the initial installation phase of said device ( 1) said pair of plates (18a, 18b) being kept close together and said pair of second screws (32a, 32b) being loosened and remaining so, upon insertion and rotation of said tip (30) of said tool, or other appropriate tool, in said opening (29) following the movement, free from obstacles, of said pair of plates (18a, 18b), movement which is guided by said first pair of slots (34a, 34b) in which the stems of said pair of second screws (32a, 32b).

10. Protection device as per claims 1 and 9 which is characterized by the fact that said pair of plates (18a, 18b) is arranged externally to said perimeter edge (19) of said covering element or base (4) to also affect a possible protection plate (38) present between the casing (39) of said door (3), containing said lock (2), and a front cover panel (40), in correspondence with a possible interspace (41).
