Allo stato dell’arte, nel campo della illuminazione a led esistono numerose aziende che producono lampade e lampadine a led di qualsiasi tipologia forma e colore. La tecnologia applicata a lampade e lampadine a led, normalmente prevede una presa di corrente, un circuito di alimentazione per led e la componente led, il tutto assemblato in una lampadina non più modificabile; esistono anche soluzioni in cui i led possono essere integrati all’interno della lampadina ma con il limite della dimensione della lampadina.
