La scelta del modello PANDA FIAT non è indispensabile ma tuttavia tale macchina ha le dimensioni e la conformazione ideale per tale tipo di lavorazione, consentendo di ottenere un risultato pregevole anche esteticamente. In una ulteriore variante di invenzione, fermo restando quanto descritto, si può prolungare il piano di carico sino a penetrare l’abitacolo originale, per cui andando a rimuovere i sedili posteriori. In particolare si spostano in avanti i due piantoni posteriori e si separa il nuovo pianale di carico dalla parte rimanente dell’abitacolo che adesso prevede solo i sedili guidatore e passeggero. Claims

CLAIMS 1. A method for modifying a car (1) equipped with a trunk (8) into a PICK UP model, the method comprising the following steps: - Removal of a rear portion (P) of the bodywork, said removal comprising the removal of a rear portion of the roof (7) of the car above at least part of the original boot of the car and the cutting and removal of the rear columns (2) in such a way that the trunk (8) of the car is open at least partially at the top and delimited laterally and at the rear by a part of the original walls (5, 67) of the bodywork; - Placement towards the front of the car of at least two columns (2 ') so that they connect to an area of the remaining roof, preferably to the free end of the remaining roof; - Application of a closing surface (25) between said two columns and further connected to the remaining part of the roof, said surface extending up to the base of the boot in such a way as to permanently separate the boot portion from the passenger compartment by defining a plane load open at the top.

2. A method, according to claim 1, wherein said closing surface (25) has a central opening closed with a rear windshield (26).

5. A method, according to claim 1 or 4, in which said closing surface is placed close to the rear seats of the car.

6. A method, according to claim 1, wherein said rear bodywork portion (P) removed starts from the base of the original rear column or in any case in proximity to said base of the column.

7. A method, according to claim 1 or 6, in which said rear portion (P) of the removed bodywork is delimited at the front by the front end of the original boot placed close to the backrest of the rear seats.

8. A method, according to claim 1, which includes the application of two lateral reinforcement bars, each one of said bars connecting for one end to the top of the side wall and for the other end to the rear column.

9. A method, according to claim 1, wherein said two columns are connected at the bottom to the vertices of the part of the remaining side walls.

10. A method, according to one or more of the preceding claims, in which said car is a PANDA model car.
