La presente invenzione riguarda il settore dell’arredamento per la casa o per l’ufficio e si riferisce in particolare ad un assieme per realizzare tavoli o banchi modulari, ovvero formati dall’accostamento di due o più tavoli o banchi singoli. Sono già noti tavoli ad elementi componibili, ovvero formati da più tavoli accostati e collegati tra loro. Scopo della presente invenzione è quello di proporre un assieme per il collegamento ed il supporto di tavoli o banchi che permetta di collegare tra loro più tavoli o banchi in modo particolarmente semplice e rapido, utilizzando un numero ridotto di componenti e allo stesso tempo garantendo un’elevata rigidità all’assieme di tavoli o banchi collegati tra loro, anche in caso di assieme particolarmente esteso in lunghezza. Assembly according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the connecting plate has a rectangular shape with the longer side parallel to the plate axis, the plate connecting portion and the leg coupling portion having substantially the same extension and being consecutive between them in the direction of the plate axis.

7. Assembly according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the corner plates have a substantially square shape and an extension substantially equal to that of the plate connecting portion of the connecting plate.

8. Table or bench assembly, comprising at least two tables or benches placed side by side, four corner plates of the assembly for connection and support according to any one of the preceding claims, each fixed in proximity to a corner of the four corners of the table assembly or bench and connected to a respective leg, and at least one pair of assemblies for connection and support according to any one of the preceding claims, each pair of assemblies having the connecting plate fixed to two tables or benches straddling the line of approach, a leg of the table or bench being connected only to the leg coupling portion of the connection plates.

9. Table or bench assembly according to the preceding claim, in which perimeter tubular elements are fixed to the lower side of the top of each table or bench, the end portions of which are engaged by the stiffening arms of the corner plates.
