Description
GRUPPO SCHERMO SCREEN GROUP
The present invention relates to a screen assembly. In particular, the present invention refers to a screen assembly comprising a screen that can be rolled up on a roller associated with two parallel profiles, one of which can slide relative to the other, reversibly bringing the screen to an extended position. In particular, the two sections can pass, making the mobile section move, from a position of mutual proximity in which the screen is closed and is almost completely wound on the roller to a maximum distance in which the screen is extended.
Generally, a screen assembly of this type also includes two parallel and opposite guide bodies that can be fixed perimeter to an opening in a wall. In particular, the movable section is associated slidingly with these guide bodies in such a way as to be able to translate guided by them. The fixed profile, on the other hand, is firmly but reversibly anchored to the wall so that it cannot slide between the guide bodies. Typically, in the position of maximum distance, the mobile profile can be hooked to the guide bodies in such a way as to keep the screen extended to prevent the passage, for example, of insects through the opening.
This type of display units can be either of the vertical scrolling type or the horizontal scrolling type.
In both cases, it is necessary to control the movement of the mobile profile to avoid, for example, the free fall of the mobile profile in the vertical sliding screen assembly. The free uncontrolled movement of the mobile profile can lead to safety problems as well as risks of damage to the screen assembly. The screen groups must therefore comply with certain safety standards such as for example the EN13561 standard.
It is currently known to equip the screen groups with so-called "viscous braking" devices that allow you to brake the unwinding or winding of the screen by the action of a viscous fluid, such as oil.
Viscous braking devices can have drawbacks in that the viscous fluid used in them hardens or softens as temperatures vary and therefore with the passing of the seasons; for this reason the braking action is not constant over time but can vary as the ambient temperature varies.
Furthermore, the roller can be provided with elastic return means adapted to exert a return force on the roller such as to oppose the unwinding of the screen. This return force facilitates the rewinding of the screen when the movable section is released away from the fixed section.
It is possible that during normal use of the screen assembly the elastic return means undergo natural wear and are no longer able to exert the sufficient return force to allow the screen to be rewound. The wear process to which all the elastic return means are naturally subjected is accelerated by the strong stresses to which they are subjected every time the movable section is released without accompanying it to the position of mutual proximity.
In the event that the screen assembly is equipped with elastic return means on the roller and a viscous braking device designed to brake the screen winding, it is possible that the screen is accidentally rewound too quickly in the presence of very high ambient temperatures. Also in this case, therefore, there is the risk of wearing out the elastic return means and the viscous braking device itself.
The object of the present invention is to obviate the aforementioned drawbacks and in particular to devise a screen assembly which allows to control the movement of the movable section in any climatic condition.
Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a screen assembly that allows to reduce the typical wear of the elastic return means present on the roller.
These and other purposes according to the present invention are achieved by making a screen assembly as set forth in claim 1.
Further characteristics of the screen assembly are the subject of the dependent claims.

Figure 10 is a partially broken perspective schematic view of a detail of an embodiment of a vertical sliding screen assembly according to the present invention.
With reference to the figures, a screen assembly 10, 50 is shown.
This screen assembly 10, 50 includes two guide bodies 11, 12, 51, 52 adapted to be fixed directly or indirectly to a wall at an opening.
The guide bodies 11, 12, 51, 52 can in fact be fixed to a frame 30, 31 already fixed to the wall of a window; in this case the guide bodies 11, 12, 51, 52 are indirectly fixed to the wall.
The screen assembly 10, 50 may in fact comprise a support frame 30, 31 adapted to be fixed directly or indirectly to the wall at least in correspondence with the sides of the opening not associated with the guide bodies 11, 12, 51, 52.
In any case, the screen assembly 10, 50 comprises a first section 13, 53 adapted to be fixed directly or indirectly to the wall between the guide bodies 11, 12, 51, 52 and a second section 14, 54 parallel to the first section 13 , 53 and having a first 15, 55 and a second 16, 56 opposite ends slidingly coupled to the guide bodies 11, 12, 51, 52. In particular, the first section 13, 53 can be indirectly fixed to the wall by means of a frame 30, 31.
The sections 13, 14, 53, 54 and the guide bodies 11, 12, 51, 52 can be, for example, metal or PVC. The screen assembly 10, 50 can be of the horizontal sliding type 50, such as that illustrated in Figures 5-7, or of the vertical sliding type 10, such as that illustrated in Figures 1-4.
In the first case, the two guide bodies 51, 52 are arranged horizontally, respectively associated with one to the upper edge and the other to the lower edge of the opening, while the profiles 53 and 54 are arranged in a vertical direction. Otherwise, in the second case the two guide bodies 11, 12 are arranged vertically associated with the lateral edges of the opening, while the profiles 13 and 14 are arranged in a horizontal direction.
In any case, the screen assembly 10, 50 also comprises a roll-up screen 17, 57 having opposite ends associated with the profiles 13, 14, 53, 54; in particular, the second section 14, 54 is movable with respect to the first section 13, 53 starting from a first position of mutual proximity, in which the screen 17, 57 is closed or wrapped, to a second position of maximum distance, in which the screen 17, 57 is fully open or extended.
The screen 17, 57 may preferably, but not exclusively, be a mosquito net.
Each guide body 11, 12, 51, 52 has at least a first longitudinal guide seat 18, 58, 59.
According to the present invention, the ends 15, 16, 55, 56 of the second section 14, 54 are associated directly or indirectly with a first magnetic element 20, 40 so that the latter is integral with the second section 14, 54 itself ; a second magnetic element 21, 41 is slidably housed in the first longitudinal guide seat 18, 58, 59. The two magnetic elements 20, 21, 40, 41 can be associated with each other by means of mutual magnetic attraction. At least one of the two magnetic elements 20, 21, 40, 41 is a permanent magnet, while the other can be of ferromagnetic material or it can be a permanent magnet.
In any case, the first magnetic element 20, 40 and the second magnetic element 21, 41 are configured to be magnetically attracted to each other in such a way that, when the two magnetic elements 20, 21, 40, 41 are facing each other they are pushed in opposite directions against at least one separation wall 30, 60, 70 which separates the first longitudinal guide seat 18, 58, 59 from the first magnetic element 20, 40; in this way the two magnetic elements 20, 21, 40, 41 come into contact on opposite sides with the at least one separation wall, generating on the at least one separation wall 30, 60, 70 a friction force which opposes movement of the second section 14, 54. In particular, the second magnetic element 21, 41 is able to slide in the first longitudinal guide seat 18, 58, 59 dragged by the first magnetic element 20, 40 when the second section 14, 54 is moved . In the embodiments illustrated in particular in Figures 8a and 8b the guide bodies 11, 12, 51, 52 are provided with two separation walls 30, 60, 70 opposite and spaced apart in such a way as to allow magnetic interaction between the magnetic elements 20, 21, 40, 41. In this case, in fact, the magnetic elements 20, 21, 40, 41 are pushed against the two separation walls 30, 60, 70 coming into contact with them and said separation walls 30, 60, 70 prevent contact between the magnetic elements 20, 21, 40, 41 themselves. In this way, starting from the position of mutual proximity in the case in which the first magnetic element 20, 40 and the second magnetic element 21, 41 are facing each other, the second section 14, 54 can be pulled manually, making it slide with respect to the bodies of guide 11, 12, 51, 52 under the braking action exerted by the pair of magnetic elements 20, 21, 40, 41 in contact with the at least one separation wall 30, 60, 70.
The screen 17, 57 is coupled to a roller 32 housed in one of the two sections 13, 14, 53, 54, for example the one anchored stably to the wall, so that it can be unwound or wound on the roller 32 respectively when the second section 14 , 54 passes from the first position of mutual proximity to the second position of maximum distance or vice versa. Preferably, the roller 32 can be provided with elastic return means (not shown), for example a spring system, arranged to exert a return force to rewind the screen 17, 57 onto the roller 32. In this case, the first element magnetic element 20, 40 and the second magnetic element 21, 41 are advantageously capable of generating on the at least one separation portion 30, 60, 70 a friction force opposite to the return force of the elastic return means.
In this way, when the second profile 14, 54 is pulled towards the position of maximum distance and then released, the force expressed by the magnetic elements 20, 21, 40, 41 will ensure that the second profile 13 is not suddenly moved towards the position of mutual proximity due to the recall force.
. It is possible that the friction force produced by the magnetic elements 20, 21, 40, 41 is such as to slow down the movement of the second section 14, 54 towards the position of mutual proximity and / or possibly lock the second section 14, 54 in position. depending on the design needs. .
In any case, preferably, the first longitudinal guide seat 18, 58 has an abutment element 26 of ferromagnetic material suitable to act as a limit switch for the second magnetic element 21, 41. In this case, when the second section 14 is moved, 54 towards the first position of mutual proximity, the second magnetic element 21, 41 abuts against the striking element 26, decoupling with the first magnetic element 20, 40 and at the same time coupling with the striking element 26. In this way , the movement of the second section 14, 54 is no longer braked and, therefore, it can move towards the first position of mutual proximity thanks to the return force of the elastic return means alone. This is particularly advantageous in the case of a vertically sliding screen assembly where the abutment elements 26 are positioned at a predetermined height in the first longitudinal guide seats 18 of the guide bodies 11, 12; in this case, in fact, to rewind the screen 17, the second profile 14 can be manually accompanied up to the predetermined height, where once the magnets have been decoupled, it is possible to let go of the second profile 14 which reaches the first position of mutual proximity only thanks to the restoring force of the elastic restoring means.
Preferably, the guide bodies 11, 12 of the vertically sliding screen assembly 10 have, in addition to the first longitudinal guide seat 18, also a second longitudinal guide seat 19 adjacent and parallel to the first longitudinal guide seat 18. In this form of embodiment, the ends 15, 16 of the second section 14 are coupled to respective support elements 80, each of which supports at least a first connection element 81 suitable for making the sliding coupling with the relative guide body 11, 12. In particular, the support elements 80 may have protruding portions 82 which engage in respective engagement seats 83 made in the ends 15, 16 of the second section 14, as illustrated in Figure 2.
Advantageously, the first connecting element 81 has a support portion 84 which supports the first magnetic element 20 slidably housed in the second longitudinal guide seat 19. In this case, the first longitudinal guide seat 18 is at least partially separated from the second longitudinal seat by two separation walls 30 opposite each other, as illustrated in Figure 8a.
In the case of the vertical sliding screen assembly 10, preferably, a third magnetic element 22 is housed in the first longitudinal guide seat 18 in correspondence with the second position of maximum distance; the third magnetic element 22 is, in particular, arranged to generate with the first magnetic element 20 a force of mutual attraction greater than that generated by the first magnetic element 20 and the second magnetic element 21. The third magnetic element 22 can be a ferromagnetic plate or a permanent magnet. Advantageously, the attraction force between the third magnetic element 22 and the first magnetic element 20 allows the second section 14 to be kept in a stable and reversible manner in the position of maximum distance.
In this case, the second section 14 is pulled by making it slide up to a position close to that of maximum distance; at this point the second section 14 is pulled in such a way as to decouple the first magnetic element 20 and the second magnetic element 21. The second section 14 is then brought to the position of maximum distance and the first magnetic element is magnetically coupled 20 to the third magnetic element 22.
Preferably, each guide body 11, 12 of the vertically sliding screen assembly 10 has a longitudinal housing seat 23 parallel to and adjacent to the second longitudinal guide seat 19 on the opposite side to the first longitudinal guide seat 18 and in this longitudinal housing seat 23 accommodates a longitudinal rod 24 which extends substantially for the entire length of the guide bodies 11, 12.
Preferably, one end of the rod 24 is coupled with a compensation block 25 housed in the longitudinal housing 23 in such a way as to leave a play in the direction transverse to the guide bodies 11, 12; this clearance allows the compensation block 25 to slide inside the longitudinal housing seat 23 to compensate for any misalignments of the opposite walls to which the guide bodies 11, 12 are applied. In particular, the compensation block 25 is housed in the portion base of the longitudinal housing seat 23 and is therefore coupled to the lower end of the rod 24. This coupling can be of any type, for example it can be obtained by fitting the rod 24 into a corresponding seat of the compensation block 25 Preferably, as illustrated in Figure 9, the compensation block 25 can have a prismatic conformation.
In the illustrated embodiments, the first connecting element 81 has a tubular portion 85 slidably associated with the rod 24 and connected with the support portion 84. In detail, the tubular portion 85 and the support portion 84 are made in a single piece. The tubular portion 85 is, in particular, sized in such a way as to define a coupling with play with the rod 24.
Furthermore, the screen 17 of the vertically sliding screen assembly 10 preferably has two respective bands 86 laterally fitted around the rods 24 in such a way as to keep the screen 17 taut during normal use. In this case, each support element 80 is associated with and supports a second connecting element 87 which has a tubular portion 88 slidably associated with the rod 24. In detail, the tubular portion 88 of the second connecting element 87 is internally coupled to a bush 89. In this case, the bands 86 are wound for a portion of their longitudinal length to the respective bushings 89; the tubular portions 88 of the second connecting element 87 are therefore coupled to the respective bushings 89 in such a way as to cover the portions of the bands 86 wrapped around the bushings themselves. In this way, the screen 17 is kept under tension in a direction transversal to the sliding motion of the second section 14 and at the same time it is avoided that the lateral bands 86 are subjected to a weary rubbing against the rod 24 being, instead, blocked on the compass 89 free to scroll.
In the case of a horizontally sliding screen assembly 50, the upper guide body 51 associated with the upper edge of the opening is similar to the guide bodies 11, 12 of the vertically sliding screen assembly 10. The upper guide body 51, therefore, has, in addition to the first longitudinal guide seat 58, a second longitudinal guide seat 61 adjacent and parallel to the first longitudinal guide seat 58. The upper end 55 of the second section 54 intended for the sliding coupling with the upper guide body 51, is coupled to an upper support element 90 which supports at least one upper connection element 91 adapted to achieve the sliding coupling with the upper guide body 51. Advantageously, the connection element top 91 has a support portion 92 which supports the first magnetic element 40 slidably housed in the second longitudinal guide seat 61 of the upper guide body 51. In this case, the first longitudinal seat 58 of the upper guide body 51 is at least partially separated from the second longitudinal seat by two separation walls 60 opposite to each other. The lower guide body 52 associated with the lower edge of the opening has, in addition to the first longitudinal guide seat 59, also a longitudinal housing seat 62 in which a longitudinal rod 63 is housed which extends substantially for the whole length of the lower guide body 52. Preferably, one end of the rod 63 is coupled with a compensation block housed in the longitudinal housing seat 62 in such a way as to leave a clearance in the direction transverse to the guide body 52; this clearance allows the compensation block to slide inside the longitudinal housing seat 62 to compensate for any misalignments of the opposite walls to which the guide bodies 51, 52 are applied.
The lower end 56 of the second profile 54 intended for sliding coupling with the lower guide body 52 has a recess 64 in which the first magnetic element 40 is engaged. The lower guide body 52 has two separation walls 70 opposite each other at the top. they face the lower end 56 of the second section 54.
The screen 57 of the horizontal sliding screen group 50 has a band 65 fitted around the rod 63 in such a way as to keep the screen 57 taut during normal use.
The lower end 56 of the second section 54 is coupled to a lower connection element 93 able to make the sliding coupling with the lower guide body 52. The lower connection element 93 has a tubular portion 94 slidingly associated with the rod 63. In detail, the tubular portion 94 of the lower connection element 93 is internally coupled to a bush (not shown) in a similar way to the second connection element 87 of the vertically sliding screen assembly 10. In this case, the band 65 is wound for a portion of its longitudinal length to the bush and the tubular portion 94 of the lower connecting element 93 is coupled to the bush in such a way as to cover the portion of the band 65 wrapped around the bush itself.
The side frame 31 associated with the lateral edge of the opening substantially corresponding to the position of maximum distance between the two sections 53, 54 can preferably be coupled to the second section 54 by means of magnetic elements for mutual coupling 33 able to maintain the second section 54 in a stable and reversible manner. in the position of maximum distance.
