Abstract

The volumetric machine with curved liners has the piston seal ring (12) positioned outside the plane of rotation of the pistons (B) but in a plane oriented at the centre of intersection of the rotational axes of the pistons and liner blocks. A sliding element (10) coupled to oscillate on a surface (9) of the drive shaft (2) can slide on the plane (C) tangential to the instantaneous trajectory of the piston. Elements in radial contact between the piston (1) and relative support device compensate for the centrifugal forces acting on the mass of the piston.
