Abstract
Procedimento per la purificazione ed il recupero di ammoniaca da reflui contaminati, anche in presenza di anioni forti, quali cloruri, fosfati, solfati e simili, consistente nel mescolare la soluzione contaminata con sale carbonato, quali carbonato di sodio, carbonato di potassio, carbonato di calcio, etc., eventualmente previo trattamento preliminare con idrossido di sodio (soda caustica) per il fissaggio di detti anioni forti; nel riscaldare la soluzione contaminata ad una temperatura compresa tra 35 e 48°C, con pH compreso tra 8 e 10, preferibilmente 9,5, in modo da ottenere sali ammonici altamente volatili; e nel separare tali sali ammoniacali mediante una prima condensazione ed un loro adsorbimento in una soluzione acquosa mantenuta in ricircolo continuo e che via via si arricchisce di tali composti.Method for purifying and recovering ammonia from contaminated waste, even in the presence of strong anions, such as chlorides, phosphates, sulphates and the like, consisting of mixing the solution contaminated with carbonate salt, such as sodium carbonate, potassium carbonate, carbonate of calcium, etc., possibly after preliminary treatment with sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) for the fixing of said strong anions; heating the contaminated solution to a temperature between 35 and 48 ° C, with a pH between 8 and 10, preferably 9.5, so as to obtain highly volatile ammonium salts; and in separating these ammonia salts by means of a first condensation and their adsorption in an aqueous solution maintained in continuous recirculation and which is gradually enriched with such compounds.
