Abstract

La presente invenzione si riferisce ad un codec per il parlato a predizione lineare eccitato da un libro di codici.Trasmettendo, mediante una opportuna circuiteria, invece dei campioni di un segnale vocale, i parametri di un filtro ed il segnale da fornire all'ingresso del filtro per ottenere alla sua uscita il segnale vocale stesso, si ottiene una riduzione fortissima della quantità di dati da trasmettere.Alcuni dei blocchi componenti il codec sono, in aggiunta, realizzati utilizzando tecniche che permettono di ottenere particolari vantaggi per quanto riguarda la semplicità di calcolo e di realizzazione, il livello di compressione, il tasso di errore, e la banda di trasmissione del parlato.The present invention refers to a codec for speech with linear prediction excited by a code book.
