Abstract

Il dispositivo comprende un diodo emettitore (17) ed un fototransistore ricevitore (18) disposti in corrispondenza della medesima faccia di una piastra trasparente (19), associata al tamburo (11) dell'apparecchio (10) ed atta a ricevere le spire della riserva di trama (RF). L'emettitore (17) invia sulla piastra trasparente (19) un fascio di raggi (R1) inclinato di un prefissato angolo di incidenza (? ) ed il ricevitore (18) riceve un fascio di raggi (R2) emergenti dalla piastra trasparente (19) ed inclinati rispetto a detta piastra di un angolo di riflessione (? ), diverso da quello di incidenza (?) prodotto da mezzi a riflessione multipla (20) disposti in corrispondenza dell'altra faccia della piastra trasparente (19). I raggi incidenti (R1) e/o emergenti (R2) vengono intercettati da una spira (SP) della riserva di filato (RF) quando detta spira perviene sulla piastra (19), per oscurare il ricevitore (18) il quale emette un corrispondente segnale (s) di presenza della spira.(fig. 3).
