Abstract
Compounds of general formula A <IMAGE> in which the carbon-carbon bond in positions 1-2 may be single or double, R is a hydrogen atom or a straight or branched C1-C4 alkyl group, R2 is the residue of a polycyclic hydrocarbon having 10- 20 carbon atoms which may or may not contain one or more heteroatoms selected from S, O, N, P are described. These compounds are useful as inhibitors of testosterone 5-α-reductases.
