Un dispositivo di trasmissione (ZUB4) posto ad esempio nella stazione successiva (Bhf1) invia al treno (Z) un comando (MI) per passare ad un esercizio caratterizzato da una velocità (Vr) compresa tra la massima velocità ammissibile (Vmax) e la velocità permissiva (Vp). L'abbandono della marcia a velocità permissiva (Vp) avviene solo quando una tratta di linea (G) a valle, comprendente preferibilmente la tratta (St) fino alla successiva stazione (Bhf2) e una ulteriore tratta di sicurezza (Dw), risulta libera (Figura 1).An apparatus for the protection of trains includes a continuous ATP signaling system and a discontinuous ZUB signaling system.
