Abstract
The present invention refers to a filling and dispensing machine, especially for liquid or semiliquid products in the food and canning industry. The machine has a tub containing the product to be distributed and at least one dispensing element associated with the tub and in which there is defined an essentially cylindrical chamber communicating with the inside of the tub via a connection line emerging into the chamber near one of its axial ends. Said chamber has a distributing opening defined at the aforesaid axial end and communicating with a distributing nozzle. The chamber contains, in movable fashion, a piston which can move under control along the chamber and, between the outlet of the connection line and the aforesaid opening, there is arranged a shutting element which selectively connects the chamber to the tub or to the nozzle. The shutting element is housed in movable fashion in the chamber and arranged between the piston and the nozzle. Said shutting element consists of a block having a lug extending in the direction of the nozzle and, in the shutting element, there is defined a passageway connecting the portion of the chamber situated between the shutting element and the piston. The shutting element can move under control along the chamber from an opening position, in which it is at a distance from the nozzle and blocks the connection line, and a closing position, in which said passageway is closed by the end of the chamber connected to the nozzle and the lug occupies the dispensing line of the nozzle. <IMAGE>
