Un dispositivo di sicurezza per pentole a pressione, il quale conferisce alla pentola una accresciuta sicurezza di funzionamento, comprende un tappo in un materiale elasticamente deformabile assialmente trattenuto in corrispondenza di un foro nel coperchio della pentola fino ad una prefissata pressione nella pentola, una appendice a fungo assialmente sporgente dal tappo per costituire arresto assiale del tappo a superamento di detta prefissata pressione, nonché passaggi in detta appendice a fungo aperti verso l'interno della pentola e verso il foro e aventi prefissata sezione per costituire una strozzatura.
