Abstract

Il dispositivo comprende un elettromagnete (4) con un avvolgimento (6) ed un nucleo mobile (22) a cui è associata una molla di richiamo (28) che tende a mantenerlo in una posizione di riposo. Tale nucleo (22) è spostabile, per effetto dell'eccitazione dell'avvolgimento (6), verso una posizione di lavoro in cui determina la chiusura di un interruttore (55; 54, 65a, 66a) che controlla l'alimentazione di corrente al motore di avviamento. Al nucleo (22) è associato, da parte opposta all'interruttore (55), un organo di comando (38), una cui estremità è atta ad essere accoppiata con un organo di trasmissione a leva (L) per determinare l'accoppiamento di un pignone (120) con una corona dentata (122) del motore a combustione interna. Tale organo di comando (38) è accoppiato al nucleo mobile (22) in modo scorrevole e con un predeterminato gioco assiale relativo (P) tra i due, in modo tale per cui quando il nucleo mobile (22) si sposta dalla posizione di riposo alla posizione di lavoro e viceversa, il nucleo (22) è suscettibile di compiere una corsa iniziale di entità predeterminata prima di impegnare e trascinare con sé l'organo di comando (38).(Figura 2).
