Gruppo pressore per macchina piegatrice con piano di lavoro sostanzialmente orizzontale idonea a lavorare una o più barre (13) contemporaneamente, presentante un gruppo piegatore (14) comprendente un rullo di contrasto (17) ed un perno piegatore (16), e mezzi di trattenimento e bloccaggio (18) e scomparsa al di sotto del piano di lavoro posti subito a monte ed a valle del detto gruppo piegatore (14), essendo vantaggiosamente presenti mezzi di trascinamento longitudinale (11), essendo costituito da un elemento pressore (21) cooperante sostanzialmente con l'asse longitudinale barre (13) e presentante una prima posizione di disattivazione ed una seconda posizione di lavoro associata alle barre (13) in piegatura.
