Abstract
Viene descritto un procedimento atto a ridurre i tempi di messa in opera di intercapedini isolanti termicamente per contenitori di sostanze che devono mantenersi a temperature diverse, da quella ambiente, generalmente più basse (dewar, tubazioni di trasporto di liquidi criogenici, pannelli isolanti per refrigeratori, ecc.) oltre che in grado di allungare la vita degli stessi. Dette intercapedini sono isolate con materiale coibente multistrato sotto vuoto e contengono un composto assorbitore di umidità ed un getter chimico. Il procedimento comprende l'evacuazione di detta intercapedine fino ad una pressione inferiore a 100 Pa, mentre il suo interno é soggetto all'azione di detto assorbitore di umidità, che continua poi per un certo numero di ore anche dopo aver eventualmente sospeso l'evacuazione isolando il dispositivo di pompaggio che viene poi riattivato fino ad una pressione inferiore a 5 Pa. Successivamente viene attivato il getter e definitivamente chiuso il dispositivo di pompaggio.A method is described which reduces the installation times of thermally insulating cavities for containers of substances which must be kept at temperatures that are different from the ambient temperature, generally lower (dewar, cryogenic liquid transport pipes, insulating panels for chillers, etc.) as well as being able to extend their life. Said cavities are insulated with vacuum multilayer insulating material and contain a moisture absorbing compound and a chemical getter. The method includes the evacuation of said cavity up to a pressure lower than 100 Pa, while its interior is subject to the action of said moisture absorber, which then continues for a certain number of hours even after having eventually suspended the evacuation isolating the pumping device which is then reactivated up to a pressure lower than 5 Pa. Then the getter is activated and the pumping device is definitively closed.
