Abstract

E' descritta un'apparecchiatura (10) per rivelare guasti in sensori di velocità (12, 14, 16) in un dispositivo di protezione contro velocità eccessive. L'apparecchiatura è caratterizzata da una molteplicità di tachimetri (18, 20, 22) aventi valori di riferimento di velocità minime (F1, F2, F3, F4) sfalsati al di sotto di un valore di riferimento di velocità di funzionamento normale con il quale vengono confrontati segnali di velocità provenienti dai sensori (12, 14, 16). Se il confronto indica che un segnale di velocità è inferiore ad un valore di riferimento di velocità minima, (per esempio F2), quando un altro segnale di velocità è superiore ad un altro valore di riferimento di velocità minima (per esempio F4) di valore più grande, allora viene indicato un guasto del sensore. L'apparecchiatura può anche essere impiegata per rivelare un guasto di uno dei tachimetri o una perdita di potenza applicata o interna ad uno di essi.
