Viene descritto un sensore di distanza (10) comprendente un elemento od antenna (11), un'unità di trasmissione/ricezione (12) collegata all'elemento ad antenna ed un'unità di elaborazione (13), collegata all'unità di trasmissione/ricezione per rilevare la presenza di ostacoli nel campo di copertura dell'antenna e per determinarne la distanza. L'elemento od antenna (11) è costituito da un elemento planare a microstriscia realizzato su circuito stampato flessibile su un supporto dielettrico (16) ed alloggiato all'interno del paraurti (14) di un autoveicolo per l'intera lunghezza del paraurti stesso.Figure 6 e 8
