Abstract
Struttura di interruttore elettrico automatico ad almeno due correnti nominali che comprende una lamina bimetallica che presenta una sua estremità fissata ad un supporto conduttore ed una sua altra estremità libera disposta in prossimità di un meccanismo di apertura dei contatti dell'interruttore, la cui peculiarità consiste nel fatto che le varie correnti nominali vengono ottenute facendo in modo che una frazione più o meno grande della lamina bimetallica venga bypassata tramite un contatto comandabile da mezzi di chiusura: in questo modo si può ottenere che la quantità di energia termica assorbita dalla lamina bimetallica rimanga la stessa, facendo percorrere un tratto minore della lamina bimetallica da parte di una corrente adeguatamente maggiore (= corrente nominale più elevata).
