Abstract

Metodo per preparare una miscela polimerica per isolanti e rivestimenti di cavi e guaine di cavi a fibre ottiche; miscela polimerica così prodotta e cavi che la incorporano. (Fig. 1)Il metodo è caratterizzato dal fatto che si mescolano intimamente, fino all'ottenimento di una composizione monofasica, (i) da 50 a 80 parti (p/p) di un primo polimero termoplastico, amorfo e con elevata resistenza alla fiamma ed alla combustione, costituito da un poliestere aromatico degli acidi isoftalico e tereftalico con bisfenolo A, e (ii) da 20 a 50 parti (p/p) di almeno un secondo polimero termoplastico, costituito da un copolimero elastomerico a blocchi polietere-estere avente durezza Shore D maggiore di 50 e punto di rammollimento Vicat maggiore di 170°C, per un tempo di mescolazione inferiore a 10 minuti primi.
