Abstract
La presente invenzione si riferisce ad un procedimento di trattamento di un acciaio da utensili destinato in particolare alla fabbricazione di stampi ad iniezione, come pure ad una acciaio da utensili ottenuto con il procedimento. Secondo questo procedimento:- si tratta un acciaio contenente nella sua composizione:da 0,2 a 2% di carbonio da 0,2 a 2% di manganese da 0,35 a 20% di cromo meno di 5% di nichel meno di 5% di molibdeno meno di 5% di vanadio e/oppure di tungsteno, in aggiunta da 0,01 a 0,02% di zolfo il resto essendo ferro;- durante il suo trattamento sotto vuoto, si deossida l'acciaio allo stato fuso agitandolo in presenza di un elemento deossidante;- si risolfora, sotto atmosfera controllata, l'acciaio allo stato fuso per raggiungere un tenore in zolfo determinato;- si cola l'acciaio assicurando una solidificazione progressiva e regolare per eliminare i ritardi locali di solidificazione.L'intervallo di tenore in zolfo viene determinato per conciliare le attitudini alla lavorazione meccanica, come pure alla lucidatura e alla granitura.The present invention relates to a process for treating tool steel intended in particular for the manufacture of injection molds, as well as for tool steel obtained by the process. The sulfur content range is determined to reconcile aptitudes for mechanical processing, as well as for polishing and graining.
