Dispositivo per l'atomizzazione di metalli liquidi, provvisto di un elemento cavo, con asse di simmetria longitudinale, in cui fluisce metallo liquido verso una sezione di uscita e di una camera a simmetria cilindrica racchiudente detto elemento cavo e con medesimo asse di simmetria longitudinale, in cui la sezione di uscita dall'elemento cavo del metallo è posta al di sotto delle sezioni di uscita dalla camera dei gas di atomizzazione i quali a loro volta fluiscono concentricamente in condotti anulari della camera svolgendo sia una energica azione frantumante, intersecando la vena fluida in forma di cono cavo con vertice sul detto asse di simmetria rivolto verso l'esterno, sia una efficace azione di contenimento, essendo proiettati parallelamente su tutta la periferia della vena fluida. Si ottengono così non solo polveri a granulometria fine, di morfologia sferica e con scarsissima presenza di satelliti (particelle piccole saldate a particelle grandi), ma anche un efficace controllo dei gas tale da eliminare fastidiosi fenomeni di splash-back e vortici localizzati intorno alle sezioni di uscita del metallo.Device for atomizing liquid metals, provided with a hollow element, with longitudinal symmetry axis, in which liquid metal flows towards an outlet section and with a cylindrical symmetry chamber enclosing said hollow element and with the same axis of longitudinal symmetry, in which the outlet section from the hollow metal element is placed below the outlet sections from the atomization gas chamber which in turn flow concentrically into the annular ducts of the chamber carrying out both an energetic crushing action, intersecting the fluid vein in the form of a hollow cone with vertex on said axis of symmetry facing outwards, it is an effective containment action, being projected parallel on the whole periphery of the fluid vein. In this way, not only fine particle size particles, with spherical morphology and very little presence of satellites (small particles welded to large particles) are obtained, but also an effective gas control to eliminate annoying splash-back phenomena and vortices located around the sections metal outlet.
