Abstract

The method essentially consists in subjecting the fluid (air), the temperature of which is to be increased, to a simultaneous compressive and agitating action within a confined environment, the said fluid being supplied to the environment in which it undergoes treatment merely by means of flowing of the fluid inside the environment. The means for implementing the abovementioned method are formed by a cylinder inside which two spaced cylinders which are not connected to each other may slid, the axial movement of one of the pistons, said second piston, being produced by flowing, inside the cylinder, of the fluid to be treated and the axial movement of the other piston, or first piston, being produced, against the action of an opposition spring, by the movement of the former which is displaced axially, increasing the pressure inside the cylinder, the cylinder also being provided, internally, with two annular end-of-travel and sealing shoulders, one for each piston, limiting the translatory movement of each of the pistons, each of the pistons being provided with a fan, and the second piston also having a Watt-type regulator which during rotation causes axial displacement thereof. <IMAGE>
