Abstract

This invention is applicable equally satisfactorily to all bicycles with and without gears, for men, women or children, whether sports, touring, mountain or other bicycles and enables force to be transmitted, by means of a back-and-forth reciprocating handlebar (see plate 1 Fig. 1/A), from the arms and body to the pedal shaft, thus increasing the physical power available at the rear wheel. If it is not intended to use the handlebar as a propulsion means, the bicycle behaves as a conventional bike. I wish to claim: 1. The back-and-forth reciprocating handlebar (Plate 1 Fig. 1/A) 2. The drive-transmitting fork (Plate 1 Fig. 1/B) 3. Pedal shaft with sprocket holder (Plate 1 Fig. 3) 4. Free-wheeling sprocket mounted on the pedal shaft (Plate 1 Fig. 2) 5.
