Abstract
Per l'estrazione di una mappa degli ostacoli dal segnale di un radar veicolare a scansione con trasmissione impulsiva si utilizzano un metodo ed una apparecchiatura che comportano: l'elaborazione analogica del segnale di eco radar a media frequenza, la quale consiste in un'amplificazione a larga banda con controllo automatico del guadagno di tipo "Sensitivity Time Control" seguita da un filtraggio passabanda adattato all'impulso; la rivelazione video; l'elaborazione digitale del segnale video, che consiste nella generazione di una mappa binaria delle rivelazioni di una scansione radar a mezzo di una integrazione "a finestra mobile" di sequenze di campioni dell'eco radar quantizzati a singolo bit; la memorizzazione di detta mappa; e la generazione della lista degli ostacoli, la quale consiste nel rilevare il dato di puntamento del fascio ed applicare alla mappa delle rivelazioni una procedura di "estrazione dei plot" ottenendo i dati significativi di posizione in distanza ed azimuth e di estensione trasversale degli oggetti rivelati dal radar.(FIG. 1).
