Sistema integrato per il rilevamento e gestione dell'inquinamento urbano costituito essenzialmente da - rete di misura fissa per gli inquinanti atmosferici (1); - rete meteorologica (4); - rete per la rilevazione automatica del traffico (3); - laboratori mobili per il controllo della qualità dell'aria (2);- centro operativo per la raccolta, l'immagazzinamento, la gestione e l'elaborazione dei dati provenienti dalle reti di misura anzidette (7); - sistema di diffusione delle informazioni e delle previsioni (5) (6). L'insieme, sistema e procedimento, si colloca nel campo tecnico dell'elettronica. Per lo scopo che deve perseguire, si colloca invece nel campo dei procedimenti e/o sistemi per la salvaguardia dell'ambiente e della salute pubblica, trovando la sua più congeniale applicazione nelle aree urbane, regionali, ecc.
