Abstract

E' descritto un plasmide isolato da Chlamydia trachomatis comprendente otto geni codificanti proteine utili nella formulazione di vaccini o di test diagnostici per la determinazione del batterio o di anticorpi specifici generati nel corso di infezioni da C. trachomatis; in particolare è descritta la proteina ricombinante di fusione MS2-pgp3D comprendente sequenze polipeptidiche codificate da pCT ed immunogeniche nel corso di infezioni nell'uomo. E' descritto inoltre un metodo per la preparazione di detta proteina in E. coli.
