Abstract
The unique characteristic of the invention consists in the combination of supermicronized hydroxylapatite- Ca10 (PO4)6 (OH)2 (microcrystal diameter: range 0.40/1.50 micron) with potassium oxalate for the formulation of a toothpaste having the following composition: ultramicronized hydroxylapatite (microcrystal diameter: range 0.40/1.50 micron) 5 g; base excipient, non- cariogenic sweeteners and flavourings q.b. to 100 g. In this way a "biological multi-purpose" toothpaste is obtained, which has the following indications: 1) remineralization/anticariogenic; 2) prevention of dentinal hypersensitivity; 3) plaque prevention.
