Abstract

Cutting apparatus with grooved rollers for producing long pasta, consisting of a quadrilateral plate in which a circular opening is formed inside which opening a cylindrical disc-shaped plate is mounted so that it can rotate, at least three pairs of rollers being fixed to the said disc-shaped plate, these rollers being provided with uniformly spaced-out grooves of different shape and projecting out at right angles to the said rotary disc- shaped plate, the rollers of each pair being mounted so as to mesh together by means of gears positioned behind the said rotary disc-shaped plate in order to allow each pair to be actuated independently from the others, the said quadrilateral frame carrying the said roller- carrying disc-shaped plate being designed so that it forms an apparatus for cutting long pasta that can be inserted directly into the head of a machine for making filled pasta as an alternative to the usual filled pasta moulds, with the outermost gear of each pair of rollers engaging with a drive gear provided inside the head and actuated by the motor unit of the ravioli machine. <IMAGE>
