Abstract
This invention deals with a "Hydro-pneumatic motor for the use of solar energy, by taking advantage of the Archimedes force principle, and the suitable devices for achieving this aim". The goal of this invention is to produce electrical energy of an industrial nature, by application of a scientific principle, with immediate industrial results, (Article 12 of the Presidential Decree of June 22, 1979 number 338).Kinetic wind energy is transformed into "Potential Elastic Energy", i.e., compressed air, that is propelled by the invention, through the use of currently commercially available rotors, and through the use of air aspirating pump connections. This energy is placed in a reservoir, (Lung), of suitable dimensions, which supplies the hydro-pneumatic motor. The hydro-pneumatic motor, functions according to the first principle of Archimedes (force on bodies immersed in water).By observing the design in table 1, it can be seen that the hydro-pneumatic motor is comprised essentially of two pairs of toothed wheels (indicated by the number 1), vertically mounted on their axis, (indicated by the number 2), on a suitable metal structure (No3); two transmission chains between themselves (No4); five cap carrying tubes in fabric coated rubber (No6); rapid course faucet sets at both ends (No7), with circular section 1/4 rotating knobs (No8) (see detail in table 2), two spiral grooved rubber tube appendices (No9) each one of which connects all the right and left faucets. The left tube appendix (prospective design table 1) is connected to the lung with a free joint (10) and inflates the caps at point A, after the opening of the faucet connected to the rigid notch (No11); while the right tube appendix, connected with a free joint to a discharge tube, which exits from the liquid in which the hydro-pneumatic motor is immersed, permits the deflation of the cap at point B, after the opening of the faucet near the rigid notch (No11), as a result of the pressure of the surrounding liquid. The propulsive push of the hydro-pneumatic motor is given by the volume of the inflated caps (positive side), for the specific weight of the liquid in which the hydro-pneumatic motor is immersed for functioning, less the passive resistance, which the deflated caps (negative side) exert on their movement directed downwards (point A).
