Abstract
A fully automatic coffee machine has a mill-part for grinding roasted beans, an extraction section for extracting the coffee from the ground beans, and a roasting section (2). In this section there is a heater (12) which roasts the beans from their raw state, and from its there is a transfer section (4) which is connected between the roaster and the grinder (3). This transfers roasted beans from the roaster to the grinder. The roaster section may use hot air to roast the beans. The heater may comprise a nichrome spiral heater. A fan may be provided to selectively feed heated or non-heated air to the beans. The container (9) for the roasting may be of heat-resistant glass, separable from a top part (8).
