Abstract
A thermosetting liq. moulding compsn. comprises (a) a liq. epoxide contg. at least two epoxide gps.; (b) a liq. tricarboxylic acid of formula (I); (c) a liq. anhydride of a dicarboxylic acid from methyltetrahydrophthalic-, methylnadic- and dodecenylsuccinic anhydrides; opt. (d) a crosslinking catalyst comprising tert. amine, aminophenol or imidazole; and opt (e) (in)org. filler, thixotropic agent and/or flame-retardant. Liq. moulded articles obtd. from the compsn. are also claimed. In (I) R1-3=1-14C alkylene, 2-14C alkenyl, monocyclic or bicyclic alkylene or alkenyl contg. 6-10C in the ring opt. substd. by alkyl(s), or phenylene opt. substd. by halogen(s).
