Abstract
The pastes comprise (a) distinct solid particles of a vitreous thermoplastic polymer material which (i) has been prepared from >=51% monomer(s) of the acrylate or aromatic monovinylidene type; (ii) has a Tg of >=50 degrees C.; (iii) has a particle diamter of 0.05-50 mu m. The particles (a) are dispersed in (b) a sticky material increasing cohesion, of softening pt. =room temp. (a) are present in the paste in a ratio of 1/6 - 1/1. Used as printing inks when contg. pigments or dyestuffs e.g. in lithography, typography; or as clear coatings for oven printing; also as adhesives.
