Abstract

The installation is for disintegrating oil paper (B) to recover the fibrous material for the production of new paper. It comprises a disintegrator (1) housing (2; 3, 4) containing a motor-driven (6) rotor (5) and with an outlet (7) for heavy material and an outlet (9) for at least partly disintegrated material which is connected (8) to a sorting unit (10) containing a driven rotor (12) with arms moving across a screen (13). The outlet (9) is arranged in a vertical side wall (3) of the housing (2) whilst the material passing through the screen (13) is fed (14-16) as usable material for further processing (30 etc.). The sorting unit (10) may be a secondary disintegrator with inlet connection (8) axially relative to the horizontal rotor axis (A), i.e. in a low-pressure area within its housing (11).
