Abstract

The storage and transporting trays, particularly for fruit and vegetables, are intended to be assembled from one piece at, or near, their place of use, thus facilitating the transport of empty trays. The tray consists of three elements, all with a U-section, a central element (1) being connected by flexible joints (3) to two identical end elements (2). The ends of the flanks of the central element are perpendicular to the base and are provided with an inclined slot (10) and a projection (12) into which engage, when folded up, a tongue (8) and aslot (11) provided on the flanks of the end elements.
