Abstract

Azo dyes of formula (I): (in which R is methyl or ethyl; R or methyl; the COOH gp. is in m- or p-posn. to the azo gp.), are used for dyeing polyamide fibres in yellow-to-orange shades, from boiling aq. dye baths. Level shades are produced on stripy-dyeing polyamide fabrics with good intensity and fastness, esp. to wet treatments. or methyl; the COOH gp. is in m- or p-posn. to the azo gp.), are used for dyeing polyamide fibres in yellow-to-orange shades, from boiling aq. dye baths. Level shades are produced on stripy-dyeing polyamide fabrics with good intensity and fastness, esp. to wet treatments.
