Abstract

The invention relates to a rubber blend containing silicic acid, said blend being produced from at least one rubber, an alkoxysilane containing sulphur, a vulcanising agent, a filier, optionally other auxiliary products for rubber and between 0.1 and 15 phr of a polysulphide additive of formula (I), where x represents 0, 1 or 2, Y represents an optionally substituted aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic group or also an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic group containing heteroatoms, and A represents an optionally substituted hydroxyethyl-, carboxyaryl-, hydroxyaryl-, carboxyalkyl- or thioamide radical. Said blend has between 0.1 and 15 parts by weight, in relation to 100 parts by weight of rubber used, of 1.6-bis(N,N-dibenzylthiocarbamoyldithio)hexane (CAS No.: 15 1900-44-6).
