Abstract

A weft yarn tension applying apparatus in an air jet loom includes a stretch nozzle, a valve and an air supply tube. The stretch nozzle is mounted movable in a weft insertion direction at a position on a downstream side of the sub-nozzle of the slay so as to be directed perpendicular to the weft yarn guide passage. The valve is connected to an air tank and provided in a part of the frame. The air supply tube connects the stretch nozzle with the valve. The air supply tube includes a first air supply tube connected to the valve and a second air supply tube connected to the stretch nozzle. An end of the first air supply tube is fixed to the rocking shaft, an end of the second air supply tube is connected to the end of the first air supply tube through a connector
