Claims (2)

44032/3 , Claims :
1. Ά safety device for a fuze of an explosive device, for example a mine, said explosive device being mountable in an ejector or laying tube from which it can be ejected or released, and said safety device comprising a displaceable charge carrier, for receiving a detonator or a propagation or transmitting charge, provided between a stationary detonator and an ignition charge, said charge carrier being lockable in a safety position from which, when unlocked, it is movable by spring force into a live position, characterised in that the charge carrier and a housing or mounting thereof are provided with two safety bolts which, when the explosive device is in place in the ejector or laying tube, are co-operable with said tube to lock the charge carrier in a safety position, said bolts being a retaining bolt and a locking bolt, which are displaceably mounted in bores of the charge carrier and of the charge carrier housing or mounting and which are withdrawable by springs, first the locking bolt, and then the retaining bolt, being released when the explosive device leaves the tube and said two bolts co-operating through blocking means and blocking-release means in such a way that the displaceable charge carrier is kept locked in a safety position if the retaining bolt is lacking or is freed before the locking bolt.
2. A safety device in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the blocking means comprises a widened disc-shaped head, constituting a head of the locking bolt, and an annular groove or enlargement, which co-operates with said head and is situated at the base of a bore of the charge carrier, said groove or V-' enlargement providing a shoulder on or with which the head of the locking belt hook® or co-operates if, with the retaining bolt missing or previously released, the charge carrier is moved by the spring drive, associated therewith, in the direction of the live position* 3· A safety device in accordance with claim 1 or 2, characterised in that fo the release of the blocking means; the retaining bolt has a coned tip which can be pressed into an associated bore in the charge carrier to restore the latte to an initial position and release the blocking means. iw A safety dewlee fo as fuse of a mine, substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawings* 5· A mine having a fuze provided with a safety device u lch is constructed in aceordance with any one of claim® 1 to h*
