Claims (1)

1. CLAIMS surgical headlight comprising a headband adapted for encircling the head of a a light projecting focussing a bracket for supporting said light projecting focussing focussing including an opaque housing having two a angle mirror i the interior of and at one end of said an achromatic len in the interior of and at the other end of the housing so arranged tha the extension of optic axis falls on the center of said said housing having a top and a and an opening in the top for introducing into said housing relatively high intensity cool light directly onto the center of said said bracket comprising a pai substantially downwardly inclined arms attached at a upper thereof to the headband in relation thereto and a band located between said arms and integrally joining said arms together as a single integral the distance between said arms at upper portion thereof different from the distance between arms adjacent a lower portion supporting in relation thereto said focussing element adjacent the lower portion thereof and constituting the sole elements which support housing said bracke being so dimensioned with the thereof so downwardly that said light focussing element is positioned immediately above and adjacent nose of said enabling pivotal said focussing elemen only in a vertical arc for projecting its light along the visual axis of eye of the A surgical headlight according to Claim wherein said bracket including the arms and band is said arms being flat and having flanges at the upper portion Integral therewith and at right angles thereto fo attachment to said said housing being a section of a cylinder the outside diameter of which is larger than inside distance between said arms near the upper portion of said such that the lower portion of said arms exert an inward directed force or tension on said thereby frictionally holding said housing in and screws said arms on oppositely disposed sides of said cylinder acting solely as pivot points for said sectio of A surgical headlight according to Claim wherein and said band and flanges are made of spring housing is of A surgical headlight adapted to be worn on the head of a including a a light projecting focussing element having a a bracket for supporting said light projecting focussing said bracket comprising a pair of substantially downwardly inclined arms attached at an upper portion thereof to the headband in relation thereto a band between said arms integrally joining said arms together as a single integral the distance between said arms at the upper portion thereof being different from the distance between said arms adjacent a lower portion said arms frictionall supporting a relation thereto said focussing element adjacent the lower portion thereof and constituting the sole elements which support said housing therebetwee said bracket being so dimensioned with the arms thereof so downwardly inclined that said light projecting focussing light along the visual ax s of the eye of the surgical headlight according to wherein bracket includes a band extending between said said bracket said band cas single integral said ban located at the uppe portion of said the distance between said at th portion thereof being greater than the distanc between said arms at the lowe portion A surgical headlight according Claim wherein said bracket includes a curved metal band extending between arms and a part said band being positioned intermediate the lower portion of said A headlight according to Claim wherein the distance between said arms at location thereof is slightly smaller the outside diamete of said housing of said ligh projecting said light projecting element it between said at said NERS insufficientOCRQuality
